1. ABOUT THE PROJECT

PNRR Funded Innovation Project

Nascenti S.r.l. is a beneficiary of a public funding program under the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Mission 4 – Component 2 – Investment 2.3, aimed at accelerating industrial innovation and technology transfer. The project focuses on developing next-generation manufacturing solutions for the apparel industry.

2. PROJECT TITLE

Automated Jeans Manufacturing Line Development

The project consists of the development of a feasibility study in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Automation Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano for an automated garment manufacturing line for jeans, with the objective of transforming a traditionally manual process into an industrial, scalable and automated system.

3. OBJECTIVES

  • Enable reshoring of denim production
  • Reduce dependency on low-cost labor countries
  • Lower skill barrier in garment manufacturing
  • Improve efficiency and scalability
  • Support compliance with upcoming European ESPR sustainability regulations
